Fikira ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI companion service operated by Innovation Labs. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our application at fikira.ai and related services.

By using Fikira, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. We use Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in.

2.2 Conversation Data

Fikira stores the content of your conversations to provide a personalized companion experience. This includes:

• Text and voice conversation transcripts
• Memories extracted from conversations (personal details, preferences, life events you share)
• Conversation summaries and session metadata

2.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain technical information, including session timestamps, device type, browser information, and interaction patterns to improve service quality and diagnose issues.

2.4 Gmail Integration (Optional)

If you choose to enable the Gmail integration, Fikira accesses your Gmail account with your explicit consent to draft and send emails on your behalf. We do not store or read your email content beyond what is necessary to fulfill your specific request in real time.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the service — power personalized AI conversations that remember you across sessions
• Improve Fikira — analyze usage patterns (in aggregate) to improve response quality and reliability
• Maintain security — detect abuse, prevent unauthorized access, and respond to security events via Google Cross-Account Protection (RISC)
• Communicate with you — send important service updates or security notifications

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your conversation data to train general-purpose AI models.

Your data is stored securely using Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, including:

• Firestore — user profiles, memories, and conversation history
• Cloud Run — all API communication is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS
• Firebase Authentication — secure session management

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest, encryption in transit, access controls, and Google's Cross-Account Protection to respond to security events on your Google account.

Fikira integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google Cloud Platform — infrastructure and data storage
• Google Gemini API — AI model for conversation processing
• Firebase (Google) — authentication and database
• Gmail API (optional) — only with explicit user consent, for drafting/sending emails

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles data.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@fikira.ai.

Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently delete your profile, conversation history, and extracted memories within 30 days.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored by Fikira
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Revoke permissions (e.g., Gmail access) at any time through your Google Account settings
• Export your data upon request

Fikira is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
